Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Work

Assign Home Solutions LLC (“Contractor”) shall perform the services described in the written estimate or contract provided to the client (“Client”). Any additional work not listed in the original agreement must be approved in writing and may incur additional charges.

2. Estimates and Proposals

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the issue date unless otherwise stated. A signed proposal or acceptance is required to schedule work.

3. Scheduling and Delays

Work will be scheduled upon receipt of any required deposit. Start and completion dates are approximate and may be affected by weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Contractor shall not be held liable for delays beyond its control.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide access to the property during agreed working hours.
  • Ensure the site is free of hazards and that utilities are operational.
  • Secure necessary approvals or permits unless otherwise agreed.

5. Change Orders

Any changes to the scope of work must be documented in a Change Order and signed by both parties. Change Orders may affect project costs and timelines.

6. Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 50%is due upon contract signing.
  • Progress payments will be invoiced as milestones are met or as otherwise agreed.
  • Final payment is due upon completion.
  • Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% late fee after 10 days.
  • Net 15 or Net 30 for larger or commercial clients.

7. Warranty

Assign Home Solutions LLC provides a limited workmanship warranty of 1 year on workmanship from the date of project completion. Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed products and materials where applicable.

Exterior Cleaning / Pressure Washing.No formal warranty is usually provided

  • However, a 24–72 hour satisfaction window or “re-clean if reported within 48 hours” 
  • Handyman Service 30 days to 90 days on labor.

8. Liability and Insurance 

Contractor is insured and will carry liability insurance and workers’ compensation as required by Maryland law. Assign Home Solutions LLC is not liable for damages due to:

  • Existing structural issues.
  • Hidden conditions.
  • Client negligence.

9. Termination

Right to Cancel (Grace Period)
The Client may cancel this agreement within 3 business days of signing the contract without penalty, provided that work has not commenced and no custom materials have been ordered.
Cancellations after this period are subject to the Termination Clause outlined in Section.
Either party may terminate the agreement with 3 business days written notice. The Client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date, including materials ordered or delivered.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal remedies. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

11. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Assign Home Solutions LLC and its employees/subcontractors from any claims, liabilities, or damages caused by the Client’s actions or omissions.

12. Force Majeure

Assign Home Solutions LLC shall not be held liable for delays or inability to complete work due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental actions.

13. Entire Agreement

This document, along with the signed estimate or proposal, constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and Assign Home Solutions LLC. No verbal agreements shall supersede this written contract.
